๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for having a home. I was listening to a podcast that reminded me that there are so many people in this country that are unhoused or homeless.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was chatting with KK from KC.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was my morning run!! Five miles on the treadmill paced followed by a 5.2 mile run to and from the Farmerโ€™s Market. I love this run. I am pacing on the treadmill to gauge my strength and speed. My outdoor runs are complicated by stops to pet puppies and chat with people at the Farmerโ€™s Market.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was a medley of fun foods including a big bowl of greens, tofu, soy curls, beans and a shake.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was reflection on the week and planning for the weeks ahead.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by taking a walk in the afternoon.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 5.83 hours.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for being a lifelong learner.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was meeting some amazing people at ICNM 2023.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was a quick morning walk/jog before running to DC for the meeting.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was a wonderful lunch showcasing Universal Meals at the ICNM meeting.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was how do we change the system from โ€œsick careโ€ to โ€œhealth careโ€ and create an accessible, equitable system that will improve the health of our communities. Just little things, lol!

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by taking a long walk.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 6.93 hrs.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for the amazing leaders in the plant based community.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was attending the first day of the International Conference on Nutrition in Medicine.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was warmup โ€“ weights โ€“ walk. I had to get ready to hit the road early today to get to the conference so I was working out with little rest between sets. I was out early for my walk-jog so it was still dark.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was having a protein shake when I returned home. I was busy all day and missed the meals at the conference. I look forward to trying the Universal Meals tomorrow.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for friends with โ€œkind eyesโ€.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was having dinner with Dr. Priti, my bestie from KC. We have been friends for 10 years.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was a run-run (makes me think of da doo run run). I did my treadmill run for pace. I am trying to learn to pace myself and the treadmill helps. Then I ran outdoors in the glorious weather. It was awesome.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was having a dinner of cauliflower and tofu. I forgot to take a photo of my meal so Iโ€™m posting my breakfast/lunch prep photo.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was remembering my purpose. There was a good Daily Motivator today that stimulated these thoughts.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by walking on my walking pad and deep breathing. It really does work.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 5 hours 34 minutes. My HRV is trending up which is nice to see.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for opportunities.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was being able to participate in some great conversations with Leif around potential partnerships. I love sharing what we do and finding ways to create synergy and opportunities with other industry leaders.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was step mill โ€“ workout โ€“ long walk/job. Awesome way to start the day.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was leveraging my meal prep again. It is a lifesaver.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was focus on what is in front of me and not worry about the noise around me.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by ambling on my walking pad.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 4 hours 26 minutes (bad dab).

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for weather alerts and yes, my weather radio. I may be old school but having lived through some interesting events in my life I like old reliable things.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was officially welcoming Sarah Bright as the newest VSA Coach!! We also welcomed several other new team members to The Vegan Gym. Welcome all!! I am honored to be on this team.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was NRC Run Hill, Hillier, Hilliest followed by a gentle walk/jog cooldown.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was being thankful for my meal prep and having to resort to a smoothie again.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was remembering to plant seeds.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by box breathing.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for having friends coming to visit from KS.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was recording another episode of Perfectly Pl@nted with Vesime.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was an awesome workout despite feeling very tired when I woke up. I hit some now PBs in the gym this morning. It just goes to show that showing up is key.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was adding some pickled onions and jalapenos to my salad. The medley of flavors is wonderful.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation focus for the day was quality over quantity or speed. It is so easy to want to just get things done. Checking the box is not acceptable to me. I know if I do the right thing, even if it takes me a little longer, that the quality of the outcome will reflect the time and effort.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by deep breathing with Dot (from Headspace).

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 6 hours 23 minutes.
