Triple A Challenge End of Week 1
The end of week 1 for the Triple A Challenge😄. What do you think so far?
I wanted to say a brief word about guided meditations. What is a guided meditation? You can learn quite a bit at this LINK on the Headspace site. I did not learn about mediation in medical school 🤣. I think it took the stress of life and the need for me to seek out ways to alleviate the stress to stumble onto the practice of meditation. Meditation is simple and learning how to do it is easier than ever with a host of free app and YouTube videos. Meditation can help you reduce stress, increase calmness and clarity, assist with sleep and overall support a state of happiness and gratitude. I am by no means an expert and defer to others who know more than I do, but I can attest to the value I have derived from implementing a brief meditation into my daily life. I have even been trying to "prescribe" it to some of my coaching clients 😉.
If you have not taken the time to complete this part of the challenge today, take a few minutes to look at some of the links below. Whether you have two minutes, ten minutes or an hour I think you will benefit from introducing meditation into your health and wellness routine.
Be on the look out for Week #2 of the Triple A Challenge on Sunday, May 10. For those of you who are able to be with your Mother on Mother's Day, be grateful for the time you are able to spend with her, in-person or remotely. It is easy to take Mom's for granted. For those of you who are mom's Happy Mother's Day!
Namaste.
