According to the American Heart Association, 80 million people have high blood pressure and more than half of them don’t have it under control. Lowering and/or maintaining your blood pressure within ranges specified by your care provider can greatly reduce your risk for heart disease and stroke.
The Y’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program can help. We have in-person programs offered across Kansas City and we will offer a mobile blood pressure self-monitoring program in conjunction with our partner Noom.
