Wingman's Monthly Update

I feel like it's been ages since I provided an update. So much has been going on that I don't seem to have time to put in all down in black and white. I am sharing some quick pics post workout today. Mondays are a "recovery" day where I spend 30 min on the Peloton and train shoulders and core.

I have been running like a mad woman thanks to Coach Bennett (huge crush!!). I am a Nike Run Club fan. It has been years since I truly ran and COVID was the catalyst that pushed me to explore the road. If you had asked me last spring I would have laughed out loud. Now, I am finding that I go to bed excited about my run the next morning. I have been following Hellah Sidibe on Strava (and IG and YouTube). If you are in need of some wonderful positivity and inspiration I strongly recommend that you follow Hellah too.

I am proud to be a plant powered athlete!! I have liberalized my nutrition to include greens, beans, nuts, seeds, name it!! I have 10 recipes that I need to post over the next few weeks. I have been trying to share my plant powered learnings with my REACHN family. What's REACHN? REACHN stands for resilience, education, activity, community, health nutrition. REACHN is a community-based lifestyle program that is focused on the pillars of lifestyle medicine. We partner with members of our community to discuss nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, social connection and tobacco cessation.
