Running with Raycon

I may be one of the few people who don’t like the Apple earbuds. I tried them ages ago and quickly returned to my tethered headphones. The Apple earbuds would not stay in while I was working out and I was afraid of losing them. Fortunately, they found a good home with a friend. Every now and then I would try another wireless option, but I did not find anything that I really enjoyed using.

This spring I started listening to Andy Slavitt’s “In the Bubble” podcast. If you have not listened to this podcast, I highly recommend that you add it to you list. I have always been a fan, but over the past 9 months I have learned a lot from Andy Slavitt and on more than one occasion I have laughed out loud during my workout. Sometime in March or April Andy shared that he and his son was using Raycon earbuds. Hmmm….someone I trusted. So, I went out to the Raycon website and did some homework. First, they are very reasonably priced (and depending on when you are reading this post there are some good Cyber Monday deals available). They also had great reviews. So, I went ahead and purchased a pair of the Raycon Everyday E25 Earbuds.

It has been over 5 months and I am a changed woman!! I run, I train, I walk. The earbuds fit like a glove and the sound is wonderful. And for those of you who are runners you can wear just one ear bud and they still work!! They come with their own charging case. The newer model allows for wireless charging so you might want to explore that option. I am impressed by these tiny little powerhouses.

No, I am not receiving any endorsements for this post. It has been a long time since I did any gadget reviews. I have not purchased as many gadgets this year as in past years, but I am also behind on several reviews so will try to provider some updates over the next few weeks as time permits. Upcoming reviews include the Oura ring and the Dario glucometer. Have you purchased any interesting tech gadgets this year? Please feel free to share in the comments box below.

Be well and have a great week.
