Meals, Movement, Mindset, Sleep, Stress (3MS)


๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for having the knowledge to sit and chat with residents in my building who want to learn more about healthy, plant-based nutrition.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was hosting Dr. Brooke Bussard on the Perfectly Pl@nted podcast. Her new book was a wonderful read.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was working through a new workout and then a brief walk-jog.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was meal prepping for the week with a focus on lots of greens and healthy protein.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation win for the day was trying to embrace every moment.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by taking an afternoon walk.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 6 hours 1 minute.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for the smiles and greetings I get when I am out on my morning run.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was talking to a friend from Kansas City.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was 5.6 miles on the treadmill and 4.9 miles on the trails. I use the treadmill to help me establish a good pace in my head for when I am on the roads. Running on the trails is slower and I walk more so I am trying to balance training for both. My run today was the NRC Five Mile Run. I have done it many times but I am in a different headspace every time so it is like a new run.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was making a pretty salad and dressing out of simple ingredients. Eating healthfully does not have to be fancy.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation win for the day was punching through my priority list. I got a lot done today.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by a massage. I was snoring so loudly during my massage that I woke myself up, lol! I think I should be grateful for my kind therapist not laughing at me ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 6 hours and 20 minutes.

๐Ÿ™ Today, I am grateful for the marvels of modern technology.

๐Ÿ˜„ The highlight of my day was talking with a former colleague about her dissertation.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ My movement win of the day was a leisurely 3 mile walk this morning.

๐ŸŒฑ My nutrition win of the day was my usual fare of salads, pickles (yes, pickles), tofu.

๐Ÿค— My mindset/motivation win for the day was being receptive to new opportunities.

๐Ÿคฏ My stressors for the day were overcome by doing some box breathing if my watch buzzed to tell me that my stress level was high.

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep time last night was 6 hours 17 minutes.
