12 Days of Fitness Day #8 Air Squats


On the eighth day of Fitness

My Y Coach gave to me:

15 Air squats


15 Burpees

10 Plank Jacks

10 Jump Lunges

5 Triceps push ups

5 Dive-bomber push ups

2 minutes of Wall squats

And one minute Planking by the tree

I could do air squats all day!! What a great lower body exercise!! You can do this exercise with or without weights. Please watch the video if you have never performed this exercise. Don’t have a bench at home? You can use a chair or footstool (pushed up against a wall for stability) or you can just pretend that there is something at a fixed height to use as a reference. Remember to squeeze your glutes at the top of the exercise. You can view a brief video of this exercise on the Facebook page for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City.
